COLOR MATCHED CENTER CONSOLE. Porsche introduces the C4S Cab for 2004. The Carrera 4S looks almost exactly like the Turbo. It shares the Turbo's wide rear stance, front and rear styling, and retains the automatic-deploying rear spoiler from the 911 Carrera. From the rear, the C4S is distinguished by its own glass-reinforced plastic decklid with a reflector strip connecting the taillights. The C4S also has larger more powerful brakes than the standard Carrera. The 3.6-liter, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine sustains 315 hp and 273 lb-ft. torque through its Six Speed Manual Gearbox. PORSCHE STABILITY MANAGEMENT (PSM). Changes in 2002 carryover to 2004, including: new styling (new headlight design, reshaped front end, widened rear quarter panels, and redesigned oval exhaust pipes), a bump in engine size (from 3.4 liters to 3.6) and power (from 300 horsepower to 315). The design changes were more than cosmetic, however. The new front air intakes increased airflow to the radiators by 15 percent. Reshaping the front wheel arches and adding small flexible spoilers ahead of the front wheels reduced aerodynamic lift by 25 percent at the front and 40 percent at the rear. New air intake ducts enhanced front brake cooling, while a new under-floor duct enhanced transmission cooling by 20 percent.Porsche 911 updates also include a real glovebox, the option of a Bose stereo, a new digital AM/FM in-dash CD stereo, a single cupholder and new wheels, the Cabriolet finally gets a glass rear window as well.

Interior enhancements include redesigned center vents, while matte-surface switches improve tactile feel. A new lockable glovebox adds to interior storage, and the center dash gains an integral cupholder. 62,074 miles. Asking $39,900.
